Research Regarding the Coupling and Coordination Relationship between New Urbanization and Ecosystem Services in Nanchang

The new urbanization (NU) will lead to changed land use types, affecting the ecological environment and ecosystem service value (ESV). NU is affected by because of resource scarcity when damaged. levels ESV were used evaluate degree development provided services (ES), respectively, analyze their coupling coordination relationships. This study shows that (1) Nanchang city increases annually, at an accelerated rate, while scale continuously expands. Among various subsystems, economy spatial are primary, remaining subsystems secondary. (2) In terms area each in Nanchang, arable most widely distributed, followed forest land, water. type with greatest change was land. (3) declined during period, water being main components. Hydrological regulation had contribution among individual services, maintaining nutrient cycle minimal contribution. high-value areas ecology mainly located northeast corner location southeast, low-value central county area. (4) (CD) Nanchang’s ES showed inverted U-shaped trend, first increasing then decreasing. also same trend exhibited fluctuation evolution process.
